Attorney Alison Yew has been selected to the Super Lawyers list for immigration law in Northern California for the fourth year in a row. The honor is only given to 5% of all practicing attorneys.
Super Lawyers uses a patented multiphase selection process to select attorneys to its regional lists. The process combines independent research with peer nominations and evaluations. The candidates are evaluated based on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, and then 5% of the nominees are named to the list annually on a state-by-state basis.
The objective of this is to create a credible, diverse and comprehensive listing of outstanding lawyers that consumers and other attorneys can search when seeking counsel. Attorneys cannot nominate themselves for the list; only their peers can nominate them.
Ms. Yew is the founder of Yew Immigration Law Group, a P.C., in San Jose, where she serves clients locally and globally in both business and family immigration matters. She is a board certified specialist in immigration and nationality law through the State Bar of California.
A graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law, Ms. Yew was once a partner at one of the nation’s Top 20 largest litigation firms. She now focuses exclusively on immigration law, providing astute legal representation to individuals and employers.
